Contested Heritage Workshop led by Professor Stephen Mullen and Marija Nemčenko at Civic Room gallery. Marija Nemčenko and Prof. Stephen Mullen discussed contested heritage, development of Glasgow as a Victorian City, and how the rapid industrialisation of the west of Scotland was dependent on immigrant labour throughout the early 20th century. Followed by a discussion and planning session for the creation of the LISA online archive.
Catering for the event was provided by Glasgow based migrant women led organisation Soul Food Sisters.
